The Chronicle API provides businesses with the ability to communicate directly with Chronicle. Through this API, customers can easily access and manage data related to:

Chronicle HR API
Rate Limiting
- Limit: Each endpoint allows a maximum of 10 requests every 10 minutes.
- Endpoint-Specific: Rate limits are applied individually to each endpoint.
- Action Upon Limit Reached: If you hit the limit, please reduce your request frequency and try again later.
Authentication
- Credentials: You will receive a Client ID and Client Secret. Keep these confidential and secure.
- Access Token: To retrieve an access token, call the /token endpoint. The token is valid for 20 minutes.
- Usage: Include the access token in your API calls for authentication.
- Authentication Method: We use OAuth 2.0 with the Client Credentials grant type. More details here
