Cascade Iris & Chronicle Online HR Integration using the Chronicle API
Overview
This new API integration enables companies to seamlessly move employee records from Cascade HR into Chronicle Online. This includes name and address, pay rates, gender, date of birth, email addresses, cost centre and activity records, job title, employee id and pay frequencies, to name a few. This significantly reduces administration time for end users and enables businesses to maintain a single point of data entry and ensure data integrity across two business critical platforms. The Chronicle API plays a crucial role in this process.
In addition to moving employee data, the import routine also manages Holiday, Sickness, and Absence types between the two platforms. Specifically, it creates records from Cascade into Chronicle Online, avoiding double data entry. This saves a significant amount of time and streamlines basic HR administration.
For example, when an employee makes a holiday request in Cascade and it gets authorized, the holiday day, type, and duration are automatically transferred to Chronicle via the Chronicle API. As a result, the process becomes seamless and efficient.
Trigger
Employee data and Holiday Sick Absence incidents can be scheduled to automatically import once a day at a fixed time or be triggered manually at any time by the end user. With the Chronicle API, this can be smoothly managed.
