We’re excited to share a new feature in the Chronicle system that enhances Time and Attendance tracking. This update improves how businesses communicate through Chronicle online, making notifications faster, smarter, and easier to manage.
Our new email configuration system allows you to streamline communication by automatically redirecting notifications to multiple custom email addresses based on specific system events. This update eliminates bottlenecks, reduces manual forwarding, and ensures the right people are always notified at the right time.
Here’s what’s new:
- Holiday Requests and Removals: You can now send notifications to custom email addresses instead of line managers. This speeds up approvals and keeps the right people informed.
- Absence and Change Requests: Redirect emails to selected recipients for more accurate and targeted communication.
- Notes: Send notes directly to custom-configured addresses, reducing reliance on manager notifications.
If you don’t set a custom configuration, Chronicle will still send notifications to the employee’s assigned manager. This ensures a smooth communication flow without any missed updates.
These changes help teams respond faster and reduce manual follow-ups. As a result, businesses using Chronicle online save time and improve communication accuracy.
