Chronicle Managers App Update: Real-Time Work Record Editing and Exception Management
We’re excited to announce an important enhancement to the Chronicle Managers App that gives managers greater control and visibility over employee attendance data. With this update, users can now view and edit work records in real time and clear or manage exceptions directly from their mobile device.
This new functionality is available on both iOS and Android versions of the app. It provides managers with immediate access to employees’ real and rounded clocking records, allowing them to make quick and accurate adjustments whenever necessary while using the app.


Real-Time Work Record Access
Managers can now review clock-in and clock-out data as it happens. This visibility helps identify attendance issues faster and ensures that all worked hours are recorded correctly. In addition, managers can edit or amend records instantly, saving time and reducing administrative delays. As a result, payroll data stays accurate, and reporting remains consistent across the system in the Chronicle.
Exception Management Made Easy
The new Clear and Manage Exceptions feature simplifies how managers handle irregularities in time entries. For example, missed clock-ins, duplicate entries, or early clock-outs can be corrected on the spot. This proactive approach improves data accuracy and prevents small errors from turning into larger payroll discrepancies later on.
Accessing These Features
All of these tools are available through the Live Status Screen within the Chronicle Managers App. This screen acts as a central hub for monitoring employee activity, making updates, and resolving exceptions quickly.
