Chronicle System Update Scheduled for Tuesday, 18th March
We are planning to deploy a series of important updates, including a significant system upgrade, to the live Chronicle platform. This will start at 04:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 18th March. During this time, the system may be temporarily unavailable while the update is applied. We expect the downtime to be brief. Access to all services will resume as soon as the deployment is complete.
This update is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the performance, reliability, and flexibility of our workforce management software in the UK. By continuously improving the Chronicle system, we aim to provide a smoother experience for all users. This ensures better management of employee data, time tracking, and scheduling.
Key improvements in this release include:
- Display of custom holiday times on the manager’s holiday request email, helping managers approve requests more efficiently.
- A new option to hide cost centre and activity fields in the mobile app, offering a cleaner interface for employees.
- Updates to the Organisation Chart, improving usability and providing clearer visibility of team structures.
- Numerous new fields added to the Chronicle API, allowing deeper integration and better data exchange between Chronicle and third-party systems.
Please note that any calls to the API during this time will return a 504 status, as services will be temporarily offline.
